About Our Pom Dance Programme

Our Pom Dance programme at The Hunslet Club combines energy, precision, and performance in a fun and engaging environment. Sessions cater to all abilities, from beginners learning basic routines to more experienced dancers refining technique and performance skills.

Coaches focus on coordination, rhythm, confidence, and showmanship, helping participants develop both technical skills and self-expression. Children also have the chance to develop to a competitive level and travel internationally with The Hunslet Club, offering exciting opportunities beyond regular sessions.

Expert Coaching

Our cheerdance programme is led by Arts Co-ordinator Cherry Crosby, who brings over 15 years experience in community dance coaching working with all ages and abilities. Under her guidance, dancers develop technical skills alongside confidence and teamwork.

The Hunslet Club Emeralds

Our competitive cheer team, the Hunslet Club Emeralds, represent the club at regional and national competitions. For those who want to take their cheering to the next level, the Emeralds offer the opportunity to compete against other squads and showcase your skills.
