We reserve the right to restrict access to areas of the website or the whole website at our discretion.

Membership Terms

Membership of The Hunslet Club is subject to the following conditions:

• Membership is available to individuals aged 18 months to 25 years
• Membership registration must be completed before participating in activities
• Parent or guardian consent is required for members under 18
• Members must comply with our code of conduct and facility rules
• We reserve the right to refuse or revoke membership

Membership is currently offered free of charge. We reserve the right to introduce membership fees with reasonable notice.

Event Bookings

When booking events or activities:

• All bookings are subject to availability
• Booking confirmation will be sent to the email address provided
• You must present a valid ticket (digital or printed) for ticketed events
• Tickets are non-transferable unless otherwise stated
• We reserve the right to verify ticket holder identity

Activity Camps

For activity camps (e.g., holiday camps, youth club sessions):

• Children must be collected promptly at the end of sessions
• Parents/guardians must provide accurate emergency contact information
• Medical and dietary requirements must be disclosed at booking
• We reserve the right to refuse admission if registration is incomplete

Payments & Refunds

Payments are processed securely through Stripe. All prices are displayed in GBP and include VAT where applicable.

Cancellation by You

• More than 7 days before: Full refund available
• 3-7 days before: 50% refund or credit for future booking
• Less than 3 days before: No refund (credit may be offered at our discretion)

Cancellation by Us

If we cancel an event or activity, you will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to an alternative date/event.

How to Request a Refund

Contact us at info@hunsletclub.org.uk with your booking reference. Refunds are typically processed within 5-10 working days.

Code of Conduct

All members and visitors are expected to:

• Treat staff, volunteers, and other members with respect
• Follow instructions from staff and activity leaders
• Use facilities and equipment responsibly
• Not engage in any form of bullying, harassment, or discrimination
• Not bring alcohol, drugs, or weapons onto the premises
• Report any safeguarding concerns to staff immediately

Breach of this code may result in removal from activities and termination of membership without refund.

Limitation of Liability

While we take all reasonable precautions:

• Participation in activities is at your own risk
• We are not liable for loss or damage to personal belongings
• We are not liable for injuries resulting from failure to follow safety instructions
• Our liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid for the relevant service

Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

Intellectual Property

All content on this website (including text, images, logos, and design) is owned by or licensed to The Hunslet Club. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use this content without our written permission, except for personal, non-commercial use.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of our website or services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We recommend checking this page periodically.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
